The West Music Club is known in the Jazz circuit for sure! Led by a very modest, strong and great jazz trumpetteer/bigband leader Richard Rousselet, the band covers many generations of bigband -and jazz musicians. For example, a today’s Marie-Anne Standaert is blowing her trumpet right next to BRT Bigband’s long-blowing leadtrumpet jazz legend Edmond Harnie, today near counting 92 springs young, blowing the jazz allready in 1938 in f.e. Fud Candrix!
The Dipsy Doodles are very proud of being able to dance in front of these musicians, which each by each are utterly professional and outstanding!
At the 8th of October, they will give a taster performance with the bigband in a village named ATH. They will dance on songs like Tia Juana, Christopher Columbus, Shiny Stockings, ‘t Aint what you do and Count Basie’s brilliant masterpiece Jumpin’ at the Woodside!
